We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

The Service does NOT collect any Personal Data.

Usage Data

The Service does NOT collect any Usage Data.

Tracking & Cookies Data

The Service does NOT collect any Tracking or Cookies Data.

DNA Match Data

The Service collects and processes data from your account at ancestry.com about your DNA Matches. This includes information about how closely you match and the names of the people in the pedigree trees of your DNA Matches.

Use of Data

The Service application DNA2Tree uses the collected data for the following purposes:

To calculate Most Recent Common Ancestors (MRCAs) of your DNA matches by comparing the names of people in their pedigree trees.
To draw Color Cluster charts showing the relationship between your DNA Matches.
To build Pedigree Trees in your account at ancestry.com.

Transfer Of Data

Your data is never transferred to any other device, computer, or server. All data collected from your account at ancestry.com is stored locally in the DNA2Tree application on the device on which you performed the collection.

Your consent to this Privacy Policy when you access your account at ancestry.com and represents your agreement to that collection.

Disclosure Of Data

Legal Requirements

All data collected by the DNA2Tree application from ancestry.com is stored locally in the DNA2Tree application on the device on which you performed the collection. Therefore the Service never has any data to disclose for any reason.

Security Of Data

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Erase All Data

You can delete your account at DNA2Tree by hitting the Delete Account button in the DNA2Tree application.

You can erase any and all data collected by the application by deleting the DNA2Tree application from the device on which you collected that data.

Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf or to perform Service-related services.

These third parties have no access to your Personal Data.

Links To Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18 (“Children”).

We do not collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18.
